Simon Lidgate

I hold a doctorate in the numerical modelling of electromagnetics. After various roles involving the numerical modelling of electromagnetic and hydrodynamic systems, I spent 10 years focused on the design and development of neurosurgical planning tools.

For the past 10 years I have worked for BSI in the regulation of Medical Devices. During this time, I have held technical, clinical, and scheme management positions, and for the last five years, led the clinical team within the Active Implantable Medical Devices (AIMD) and Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) group.
